And so, it begins!

By George, I think hes got it! Ralph gives Alex a lesson in Tricky Tractor Techniques. .....a steady hand...... The tractor is on the fritz.....again! Ralph, a friend, Harold, Eddie, Howie Ralph oversees the action from his perch on the north dock. Eddie has the next set of poles ready to go into the water. ....and most important of all, FLEXIBILITY! Painting a straight waterline takes a lot of patience.... Now lets see.....measure once, cut twice, right? Ralph shows Alex how its done. Spring has sprung and the coffees fresh! Eddie Now its MY turn! Alex O.K., on the count of three... Ralph and Jorge pulling docks.

In the Beginning

1949: WWII surplus Jeep (named Jule) parked next to the original boat house. Cousin Ivy with Ralphs brother, Bill, inside holding a bushel basket. Ralphs mother, Marge (r.), and friend (also Marge!)ready for morning of surf fishing. They are standing at the foot of 20th Avenue and Bay View Avenue (1957). High school sweethearts, Ralph and Emma enjoyed the summers in Seaside. Rick B. Linda (1949) Ralph in the shop in 1948, the proud new owner of Red Top Boats. A very young Jason with Rick Eddie and Stan Ralph enjoyed his new telescope outside the old Red Top Store in 1962. Jorge Ralph Howie
